About Little Souls

Gretchen has been making dolls for most of her life, and that's quite a few years considering she is a member of the "new 40's." As creator of Little Souls she has traveled the globe and still continues, searching everywhere for new goop and goodies to add to her creations.
At the end of 2006, Gretchen Wilson decided to go back to making all Little Souls dolls herself, which is her first love. All of the dolls are now handmade by Gretchen using fabulous fabrics, decorations, and accessories. They have become characters with great texture. She still collaborates with her former partner and dear friend Colleen Charleston. Gretchen now works with two Cambodian friends, Pitch Mao and Oak Chum, who have been with her for about many, many years. Gretchen does all the design and creative work. Pitch and Oak are two very excellent assistants giving her two more sets of busy hands to help bring the dolls to life.Gretchen is now having the time of her life creating dolls again and there are always new styles of dolls available and in the works. Of course we will continue to carry 18" and 24" One-of-a-Kind Gold Seal Little Souls created and made by the Dollymama herself, including lots of designer dolls. We have great expectations for wonderful new dolls in the weeks, months and years to come and we would love to hear your opinions.
Since opening Arts&Souls in 2000, we have developed a special relationship with Gretchen. During that time we were very fortunate to be able to purchase many Designer Dolls made by Gretchen and that is one of the distinctive parts of Arts&Souls today. Gretchen now makes one-of-a-kind creations for only a small number loyal, very special retailers. Fortunately for us, we are at the top of the list. We have been Little Souls' largest retailer for several years.
